About Harold Geller

Harold Geller is the founder of Geller Law and an Ottawa-based lawyer licensed to practise in Ontario since 1993. For more than 30 years, Harold has focused his work on helping investors, beneficiaries, and families deal with financial loss, unsuitable investment advice, advisor misconduct, negligence, and life insurance disputes.

Over the course of his career, Harold has represented clients in more than 1,500 settled claims. His work is centred on helping people understand what went wrong, who may be responsible, and whether there is a practical path to recover what was lost.

“After a significant loss of investment funds, we sought Harold’s assistance. Harold and his team took on our case, which subsequently resulted in much of the loss being recovered. We are great fans of Harold and recommend him to other investors facing a similar circumstance.”

Background Experience

Before founding Geller Law, Harold built a career focused on financial loss recovery, investor protection, and insurance-related disputes. He received his law degree from Dalhousie University, completed an honours degree at Queen’s University, and has training through the Canadian Securities Institute.

His background gives him a practical understanding of both the legal system and the financial services industry, allowing him to review complex investment and insurance matters with clarity and care.
